Second story I've tried to write.
This one isn't nearly as sad as Sororal Instincts. And hopefully it's better written. If it isn't then clearly I need to fire my editor. But first I must hire one.

I think part of it was that there's not much in this story that taps into the arteries of the site. It doesn't have much shipping, nor is it exactly exciting or anything. Just a little drama.
Secondly I think the major reason was I wrote all the chapters and submitted them all at once instead of one at a time. Meaning it only appeared in the "recent stories" area of the site once and then sort of floated down.
I have since learned not to do that!
From what I've read so far this story deserves more attention than it has. Applejack really shouldn't be so nervous about everything although it might not go spotless.
At least Marco seems like a nice stallion unlike Belle who wan't so nice.
The thing about this chapter I liked most was the Daring Do opera because that's an actual story on this site, only written much later.
This is apretty good story but I don't like the way Applejack's relatives were portrayed and what's implied about Pinkie's family so I won't give it an upvote. I am still glad to have read this story and it deserves more views.
