1291649 A medicine to counter a form of energy? Good luck with that! I thought of something like this in my upcoming story as well. Maybe humans react completely different to the equestrian enviroment. Ponies react normal and use magic, earn cutie marks. There are fics out there where even humans earn cutie marks, but maybe even these simple things for ponies might cause violent transformations for humans. Not like *POOF* and the cutie mark is there... What if it will be a painful, gory moment that is traumatizing for the human?
1291732 Thing is we don't have magic in our world. maybe chronic and sustained exploring in our world might do the same to ponies since we have electric smog, radio signals left and right and bombard the planet with sattelite signals. Come to think of it, this miight affect unicorns the most since their magic might diminish among all this technological filth in the air. Or it might cause their magic to go random. You want to get a spell out to hold a cup of tea and instead you fire lasers or the flower pot explodes as the flower gets huge. You know stuff that could happen. Or just imagine Celestia comes to our world and messing with the Solar system or merely the Earth's rotation to set the sun right. Or Luna pulling the moon into place. Oh, the tidal waves...
You definitely want either aspirin or ibuprofen, not penicillin. The first two are used to treat headaches (among other things), but the second is an antibiotic, and won't do anything to alleviate pain. Unless the character was supposed to be mistaken, in which case, ignore me.
And in a creative twist, our bipedal hero ACTUALLY goes to Equestria! But...cannot stay, for some reason. Probably for the better, really. Still... i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag40/Shanenator777/what-a-twist.jpg Definitely a unique spin off the typical PoE stories. I like it. I dig it. I want some more of it!
This characterization of Lyra is truly dawwwwable. Poor Jason doesn't know what he's getting into...
Or just imagine Celestia comes to our world and messing with the Solar system or merely the Earth's rotation to set the sun right. Or Luna pulling the moon into place. Oh, the tidal waves...
Yeah... no.
I know I'm late to the party, but whatever.
That's not happening. Celestia cannot move our sun, and Luna cannot move our moon. Period.
And, already, in the second chapter, this story has reached unbelievable levels of bullshit.
So... the magic that the ponies encounter and is in their air, is toxic to humans. But the Human world, with no magic in it's air, isn't toxic to the ponies?
Fuck off, you have no idea how biology works.
Why? This makes no sense at all. If anything, ponies should be the ones getting sick from not having magic in the air.
I don't know if I can handle Lyra bein'...Well, an idiot I'm tryin' to look past it and see how adorable she is but I can't get by how childishly ignorant she is
I loved this chapter it was a awesome read it was funny this story just gets better and better I can't wait to see what happens next between them all ando them all next
Lyra peered back over her shoulder for a moment, raising a brow, and then shaking her head firmly. “No, it’s Equestria. Where did you get Narnia from? It doesn’t even sound the same!”
Yes it does Lyra. YES IT FUCKING DOES!!! (breathes into a paper bag)
“Clumsy,” Lyra stated.
Well you have no attention span.
“I dunno what clouds you have, but our clouds are more sturdy, I guess. Well, they are for pegasi, but if an earth pony or a unicorn tries to step on them, they fall right through.” Lyra hummed thoughtfully. “I know Twilight Sparkle has a spell for cloudwalking, but I don’t know it.”
Jason, don't-
Jason wrinkled his nose at that, rubbing a palm against his temple, feeling the headache coming back with renewed force.
-well shit I can feel the tremors through the internet. Jason, you're going to break the internet if you try to make sense of this.
I really should have said aspirin instead of Ibuprofen.
Lyra, why u so adorable
I like your descriptions of the human world through Lyra
Please don't make him a utterly weak against ponies. And why the heck is he getting headaches? Either way I want some MOAR!
Are those headaches some kind of magic allergy?
1291539
Oh dear.
Having an allergy to magic would suck so bad if we could visit Equestria.
A medicine would be made to counter it probably.

You've got an excellent point there.
You think it probably would only be fair that the Ponies had some kinda issue with our world too?
1291732

Oh dear god that would be terrible...but it makes since!
Dear god this is awsome!
More please?
Lyra's Human Obsession: Origins
this is how it began people
Tv is addicting in all cultures
Favorite, liked, can't wait for more :)
Ok, I'm. Hooked. Bring on the story.
Silly Lyra, any sufficently advanced Magic is indistiguishable from Technology... or is that the reverse?..
(Yes I deliberately misquoted Clarke)
Oh, so that's how a lava lamp works...
Also I take it you drew inspiration from that one Ditzy staring at a lava lamp on Youtube? Either way, it's aDAWWWWWWable
Hey I love barbeque sauce on my sandwiches also!

You could make something that would mask the symptoms and ease the headaches, at least.
Yes she does...

I don't think the headache is from magic. I think it's just from Lyra!!!
Lyra is like an annoying mix of Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie.
It... kind reminds me of me, really.
CLOUDS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY! GOODNIGHT!!! lol

DERPY GET AWAY FROM ME WITH THAT SY- THUMP! *syringe is poking from leg*
I just don't know what went wrong
Me: *Twitches*

I'd like to note that penicillin is an antibiotic, not a pain reliever.
