Very cute. I used to love me some RumbleSpike back in the day. Hell, there aren't enough Spike/Similarly aged ponies in general.
Although, a few things were unclear. For starters, you may want to establish how a new tree library was built, rather than just saying it is. Also:
This makes it sound like he's in the tree library already. If he's still in the crystal castle, how are the walls wooden?
Either way, very adorable. The world needs more Ghey!Spike.

Ah, that's one thing I need to work on. Establishing things.
In my head I figured that the castle provided Spike a room he was comfortable with, hence being similar to the tree library, but I guess I couldn't find a comfortable place to put that information in there.
As for the new treebrary, I just wanted to move past it because I couldn't figure out how to explain it. I just really miss it.
