Based on the new movie. Some slight spoilers.
Sonic has been secretly living in Canterlot for the past decade; after a moment of frustration he has been found by Twilight Sparkle in an incident that causes a power surge knocking out power all across Canterlot and beyond. Twilight ends up befriending Sonic and has to help him when they draw the attention of the military organisation G.U.N. and especially the eccentric and pure evil Dr Robotnik.

REALLY good job on this first chapter of this story. The exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places.
I particularly liked Human Tempest's disgust concerning Robotnik's ego, but grudgingly acknowledging that they need him for the time being. And, yeah, I bet Robotnik was a ex-Crystal Preppie too, which would make Sci-Twi even more of a younger Good Counterpart to Robotnik.
Plus, Sci-Twi and Sonic's first meeting was well done, especially with Sci-Twi admitting she made a mistake at first and offering to help Sonic to make up for that mistake as well as the reaction to Sonic's backstory. Covering for Sonic concerning Cadance was another great touch.
Of course, one shudders to think just how Robotnik will react to the existence of magic (we already know the Rainbooms are going to be helping out Sci-Twi once they learn about Sonic, maybe at first mistaking Sci-Twi for the pony Twilight, but still continuing to help out even after they realize their mistake). And Robotnik meeting a teenage girl as smart as HIM would probably lead to some comical frustration from the not-so-good Doctor.
And, if this stretches out far enough, it could be entertaining seeing Sci-Twi's first meeting with Tails. Adorkable science geek in stereo. :-D
Anyway, definitely looking forward to more of this.
Was hoping someone would write a crossover based off the movie and am glad to see it. This is off to a fun start and I'm very eager to see what happens next

Another good chapter, and yes I do enjoy comedic misunderstandings and am eager to see what happens when Shining and Cadence discover Twilight's "boyfriend" is a talking blue hedgehog
Excellent job on the exchanges, characterizations, action, humor and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I admit I kind of liked Robotnik's Kick the Female Dog (I know that isn't the correct term, but I try very hard not to use profanity on public forums) moment arresting Cinch (indeed, considering what we know about her, that is some really good karma there, but I REALLY liked the comical misunderstanding Shining and Cadance currently have concerning Twilight, Twilight getting a couple of good laughs out of Sonic's antics and Sunset and HER friends discussing how the blackout affected THEM.
A couple of possible ideas for much later in the story (but NOT QUITE the end):
Rainbow: Well, it wouldn't be the FIRST time we helped save the world.
Pinkie: Yeah! Actually, it would be the THIRD time in as many months. Though, admittedly, it WOULD be the first time we helped save it from something OTHER THAN Equestrian magic.
or
Robotnik: WHY are you brats risking your lives for this - this - hyperactive blue freak of nature!
Pinkie: Hey! NOBODY gets to bad-mouth Dashie like that except MAYBE Applejack when she is in a bad enough mood.
Twilight: (to Pinkie; deadpan) He's talking about Sonic, Pinkie. (to Robotnik; more serious) But, anyway, to answer your question, Robotnik, SONIC IS MY FRIEND!
Robotnik: It's almost a pity. Here I thought you might be the only person on the planet ALMOST as smart as me. Apparently, I OVERestimated you.
Sunset: And Twilight and Sonic are BOTH OUR friends!
This one IS for the end:
Sonic: (inner monologue) For ten years, I've had NO friends. But here, I've made SEVEN friends in less than a week. Well, TEN counting Shining Armor, Cadance and Spike. Yeah, I would say I am well on my way toward making up for lost time.
But, well, if you already have other/better ideas (which IS quite possible) I will understand completely and profusely apologize for wasting your time.
But, at any rate, I will DEFINITELY be looking forward to more of this.

KO awesome chapter, guess Sonic will have to be on the lookout for Fluttershy and the insane doctor while dealing with Twilight’s brother and sister-in-law. That ending was funny too.
“Where I came from was this planet called Mobius; it was a great place filled with talking animals just like me. I was raised on this Island and I had my powers ever since I was born; there was a lot of place to run and arches to go loop de loop on my runnings and no school it was paradise. I was raised by this wife owl named Longclaw; she was always telling me to stay hidden and not draw attention to myself but honestly what 4 year old does what their parent says?”
"Wife" should be "wise" in this sentence.

That ending of Shining and Cadence meeting Sonic was just priceless.
I wasn't expecting that.
Well I was expecting not to expect it so it doesn't count.
REALLY good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I especially enjoyed Tempest's admission that they KNEW about the weird goings on at Canterlot High but delayed investigation because of more important matters. And Twilight and Sonic's dialogue during the attempted stealth investigation was good too (particularly Sci-Twi's admission of the reason she is mostly alone NOT being ENTIRELY by choice). And, yeah, Fluttershy getting confirmation of Sonic's existence was a great detail for later, but, yeah, the icing on the cake was Shining Armor and Cadance finally meeting Sonic. And, yeah, Sonic has a point (though I could definitely see Tails developing a crush on Twilight reasonably similar to Dragon Spike's crush on Rarity).
For another possible idea for later on:
Rainbow (seeing Sonic moving at super-speed): Whoa. Look at that guy go.
Pinkie: Don't be TOO jealous, Dashie. You'll be JUST AS FAST in a couple of months - after we get back from Camp Everfree. (off Rainbow's look) What? Too spoilery?
plus a little possible thing for the epilogue:
Cinch: (extremely frustrated) All right. I spent a little over a week in jail because of that - egomaniac's issues AND, when I get out, I find out my best student transferred to Canterlot High. That is TWO blows to my reputation in less than two weeks. The only thing big enough to allow us to regain that lost dignity - a decisive victory in the Friendship Games next month.
But, anyway, I'll very certainly be looking forward to more of this.

In my opinion, I recommend you that Robotnik discovered the Dazzling's and Sunset Shimmer information from the School archives and specifically forcing her to speak up about Equestria and Princess Twilight, then Sunset try to convince Robotnik but treating her to reveal everything about all what happen in Canterlot High and notice the journal responding, just to Sonic appear and Robotnik scream just to Sunset punched out

Eggman's talking down to Tempest was of course as humorous as it was in the movie (speaking of which, I know you described him as kind of round and chubby like game Eggman, but I still can't help but picture Jim Carrey as it felt like he was TAILOR MADE FOR THE ROLE!)
And Cadence and Shining meeting Sonic was even better then I could have imagined

Another great chapter, I especially like the idea of the Rainbooms thinking Sonic is from Equestria and wanting to send him back there (which honestly would work pretty well as Sonic would very much fit in there.... that's part of the reason why I struggle in my attempts to write a good Sonic crossover, lol)

I particularly enjoyed Tempest chewing out Robotnik for the damage done to Canterlot High, the fact that Tempest cut Luna short when the latter ALMOST revealed the former's REAL name (which was funny enough that Celestia briefly forgot about being justifiably angry with Robotnik), the Rainbooms' Entertainingly Wrong chat concerning Sonic (ironically, pony Tempest DID have a hedgehog sidekick - just without super-speed) and Sonic explaining the situation to Shining and Cadance JUST as Robotnik and his troops arrived.
I am VERY certainly going to be looking forward to more of this.

Another fun chapter, I especially like the detail of having the Egg Mobile being called the Robotnik Mobile since he has yet to receive his nickname
Also Pinkie's comment on the end was very apt and hilarious

I especially liked Robotnik's chat with Sci-Twi, the fact that Sonic is at least being responsible enough to get the civilians out of harm's way during the chase, Princess Twilight's admission that this is a new one on her and Pinkie's rather valid observation at the end of the chapter (though they MIGHT get in at least SOME of the actual action in the climax, since it seems all the more appropriate for Robotnik's defeat to come from a mix of Sonic's super-speed AND the girls' magic in addition to the fact that Tempest might be grateful enough to continue to look the other way on the other incidents if they helped stop Robotnik).
And, yeah, I can understand that real world concerns need to take top priority and inspiration might be hard to come by.

KO awesome chapter, well dealing with Doctor Eggman has been dealt with but another adventure is coming soon with a certain game is coming.
REALLY good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future set-up in this chapter. I especially liked the selection of songs as well as Pinkie's comment about them being only background characters (at least for now; they will probably start to get bigger roles after the Friendship Games [well, SUNSET might get a bigger role "Friendship Games" onward at any rate] are wrapped up), Cinch's rant about the Crystal Prep sports teams needing to forfeit until the Friendship Games and Tempest pointing out to Twilight and her family that they ARE going to need supervision concerning Sonic.
Well, on to the next chapter.
REALLY good job on the future arc set-up here. I particularly liked the detail of the "super-fighting robot" plans and Tails' mention of Princess Blaze. The added details, of course, mean, we AREN'T going to have to wait for the actual sequel before the story can continue (though we might still have to wait until real world concerns and inspiration can allow).
Of course, I can't help visualizing Robotnik also developing a rivalry with a seven-foot, fire-breathing, megalomanical anthro reptile with a massive army and, as a side effect of the alien mushrooms, ALSO developing a limited degree of Super-Strength and Super-Toughness (basically just enough to give him brawn to match his brains) as additional Mythology Gags concerning the "alien mushroom" world.
But anyway, I will VERY definitely be looking forward to more of this.
