I'm older than your average brony, but then I've always enjoyed cartoons. I'm an experienced reviewer, EqD pre-reader, and occasional author.

Very few ponies have ever gotten a dressing-down in person from Princess Celestia. So at least Berry Punch has that going for her. Even though what she did wasn’t technically illegal.

My entry Honorable mention in Shrink Laureate's Season 9 bingo writing contest! I've used all 5 cards of the prompt.

Woah. Looking forward to where this goes

Ah. I see you're going for nested flashbacks. This should definitely prove interesting.

I've never written a backward story before. Figured I'd give it a try.

Ohh. Tracked this sounds very interesting.

Love the ghost/tofu thing - it's the little things that hold a story together.

I love idioms. They say so much about a culture.

And yeah, no random thug is going to outmix Berry Punch.

:rainbowderp:

When Tia is in this kind of mood, you know you've done something wrong.

from here on out, i'm gonna try my hardest to include that ghost tofu phrase in my life.

Well, she was able to keep it going for a work week. Enterprises have certainly crumbled faster than that.

Who would Berry Punch's voice actor be?

9559104
She's only spoken once in the show, and Ashleigh Ball did her voice.

"We must implement new vices, ones that will bring new jobs and revenue to our great city!"

Never anticipated where Berry was getting her supply. (Was the Human tag always there? :twilightsheepish:) Brilliant bit of condensed, tachyonic storytelling. Thank you for it, and best of luck in the judging.

… where this came from?

Oh. Okay.

Things are making so much more sense now. Feeding energy drinks to Pinkie Pie - yeah, technically not illegal, can see why Celestia would be somewhat upset about that. It's like weaponising apples or something.

I need to read this story again from the start. Well done with how well you matched with your Bingo cards!

Really didn’t expect the end point, also the bit with Pinkie now makes perfect sense.

Whoa, hold on. Berry Punch gave The Pink One an energy drink? And Ponyville still exists in a recognizable form?

How?

From Monday:

“True, true.” Palm rubbed his chin. “I had a sample of your product the other day, actually. Good stuff. I didn’t know what to expect, but that wasn’t it.”

“Oh? When did you—?”

“In Ponyville. My associate Pile Driver picked up a couple of your free samples.”

And from this chapter:

“Tell you what,” he said, “take my associate Pile Driver and give him a sample of whatever it is you’ve got. We’ll have a try and tell you if we want in. Name’s Greased Palm, by the way.”

These two parts doesn't quite add up.

Thank you for your review! Unfortunately, I don't have a tumblr account, so I can't leave a comment there, but I appreciate you reading!

I don't understand. What more were you expecting?

I was kinda of expecting her to be smuggling in Red Bull specifically, and Celestia was pissed everypony was getting wings.:P

And the ones who already had wings got double wings.

Well done. Wonderful style here. Was riveted to my seat until the end.
