I really like the story, I do suggest you have someone who can proofread and edit for you though. There are some grammatical errors that can be easily fixed with a once-over. I also suggest to try and be aware of your use for certain words or phrases as you seem to use them consistently. Aside from that, great story thus far! Cant wait for more!

I won't deny that it's inspired me to make this, but this only has minor ties to the game such as powers and one character. It isn't a complete rip off considering that it has different implication and, from what I can tell, a different story line. But I see where your coming from and I realize that I may have been following that story too closely.
You mentioned that the element bearers had hard to get into graves in the story. Is the main character going to travel to them to obtain certain abilities or weapons like in the game? That just my prediction.
