I had three particular goals for myself in writing this one:

--Focus on the dynamic between Twilight and Spike, because I think it seriously needs more attention in the series.

--Include a heart-to-heart between Rarity and Twilight, because they really haven't bonded much canon-wise.

--Attempt to write in the style of an episode.  Albeit quite a dramatic episode.  (Who am I kidding, I failed miserably at this one)

Bravo, bravo. I really started crying when Spike left...This is what I love about this fandom. We can take the show and make it into whatever we want. I agree that they need to add more of  relationship between Spike and Twilight as well.  This was one of the best Spike fanfics I have read so far. Keep up the good work. Now I have to go listen to "Smile" so I will stop being sad.

I'm a big Spike Rarity fan so when it said that she left him with lipstick all over his face I had this huge smile on my face.

I'm also a hopeless romantic so I get moved so much with simple emotions and I can say that I had to force myslef from crying because the minute I did I would not stop. You sir or mam are a gift thank you. Now have a bunch of pictures just because.

This instantly won the best story I've read ever, my god I cried, literally cried out and the emotion was all so well written I truly enjoyed this from start to finish, by far the best Twilight and Spike story I have ever read

I was a little too close to crying. I'm not suprised I didn't. My Little Dashie dried up most of my tears. But I definetly would've cried if Spike had died.

You did an excellent job at the bonding between Twi and Rarity, you're right about the show not focusing on that, also.....you pulled alot of emotions from me, and that's pretty darn difficult. Something I really like about fan fiction is that there are no rules. In actual published books, the has to be a happy ending. It takes the suspense right out of it sometimes. But with a fiction, you can do whatever you want. You never know for sure whether or not it will turn out peachy. They keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. I actually thought Spike was going to die.
