Yes, I adored the Season 3 opener, I thought it was incredibly well done. It bumped "Canterlot Wedding" out of the #2 spot in my favorite episode list, which now reads #3: Canterlot Wedding, #2: The Crystal Empire, and #1: Return of Harmony. The moral, however, is my new favorite out of the entire series. "Self-sacrifice"? Most ADULTS don't understand its importance, so to put it in a show meant for children is ingenious. Major kudos.

Thanks so much to everyone who enjoyed and commented on "Fire Spores"! You have no idea how happy it made me to wake up this morning and see all of these lovely comments. I certainly was not expecting all of this praise from what started out as a simple "what if" idea, and I truly do appreciate you all taking time out to read my work.

I guess the only downside to all this is that it sets the bar incredibly high for any future work of mine. *gulp*
