Fluttershy has always loved Pinkie Pie's parties, even if she dislikes the mass of ponies that always comes with it. Even more so when her friends are there, having fun with her.
But when it gets late and the music starts to slow, she wonders why Rainbow Dash is still there. She usually takes off when everypony starts to leave.
What makes tonight different?
My first real foray into the romance genre. Expect lots of cheese. And I mean lots.

Somehow I feel like I've read this before. But that doesn't stop the fluff from appealing to my soul. I liked it, even if I feel like Fluttershy's dialogue could have been a bit more coherent. Good story sir

This is some grade-A cheesiness right here, but it all seems so much gold with these two ponies being hopelessly adorably gay for each other...
Well-written all around. Dialogue wasn't overly cheesy. Romance was subtle and built up rather than making a sudden appearance. Can't ask for much more than that.
