As the night's grow colder and the fireplace grows stronger, we always forget the ones that truly brought us all together on Hearth's Warming Eve.

The Windigos.

And as the Cutie Mark Crusaders gather together at the Apple family barn, Applejack relates to them the only story they still haven't heard...

The Tale of The Last Windigo.

But not just any old cave or home No, it was what was to be the final resting place of the Windigo race.

You're missing a period between "Home" and "no."

:ajsleepy::fluttercry::raritycry: Great job!

7816736 I'm guessing the filly in Applejack's story was Applejack herself. Am I right?

Nice, heartwarming story. :)
But I think the "Tragedy" tag for this story is wrong. According to the Fimfiction guidlines the category Tragedy is used for stories that "involve the downfall or failure of the main character". For example: You build up a romance for 10 chapters and then in the last chapter the protagonist accidently kills his own special somepony.

Despite being short, tihs was wonderful and very touching. Well done! :raritycry:

8097089 Thank you! I actually spent some time on thinking about how I should've done this story, and then, when I got to writing it, I wrote down whatever it was I saw in my head until it made sense.

It's how I usually write one-shots :twilightsmile: and this was a small exception.

Doctor Disco .. Nothing wrong with that, it clearly works out quite well for you. ^.^ - I've been meaning to put a story of mine up, but first.. I have to retrieve it from my last computer, which died, so.. Kind of a pain. And secondly, I'm more of an Artist than a writer, and always feel super self conscious about anything I DO write.

Seeing people just.. throw things out there and going "I wrote this, I enjoyed writing it, enjoy it or not because I had FUN!" has made me lean towards posting though.. as soon as I get the story and can go about fine tuning what I have written. In short, thanks for being someone who's inspired me to take that leap of faith! :D

It's... it's such a beautiful story!:fluttercry:
Sad, yet heartwarming. It's always nice to see another side to the so called 'monsters' and you sure did them justice. The atmosphere you painted there is breathtaking, shivers ran down my spine the whole time I was reading. Thank you for this experience! :twilightsmile:
