It's a concept I've played with before myself and certainly has a lot of potential. However, the story shows a clear lack of polish with spelling errors, extra words that seem to have been left in during sentence rewrites, tense confusion between past and present, and homonym issues.
The writing itself is... Passable, but the typos aren't so easily ignored. Plot and character wise there are a lot of assumptions and leaps being made, along with contorting personalities to fit the fetish. Obviously there's going to be some of that regardless of how elegant in execution it might be, but this is essentially a case of "X loves Y, accept it".
The best way to put it is that I'd like more, but want better.
May your quill stay sharp and your ink never dry.
This was a ton of fun! Gilda really screwed herself over in the end, but I'm willing to bet that was her plan all along.

You are most definitely right, I really just pushed this one out with little regard as to the polish. I gave up fussing over the structural aspects and would argue this is one of my weaker pieces technically, especially with the very different and strange way I framed the narrative, which is one of the issues I had writing the piece. Kinda just wanted to publish something rather than nothing, as I was getting frustrated to the point of me just wanting to just rewrite it entirely or let it sit on my pc for a months before it saw the light of day.
In the future I will probably handle a story like this differently so that there are less technical and stylistic issues with both the narrative and the writing itself, but I wanted to experiment with how the concept would at least go over I suppose.
Thanks for the taking the time to write feedback though, I enjoy the criticism and will take it into account in the future.

The idea of a diaper-themed dungeon crawler tabletop RPG is an interesting concept but the players just randomly being diapered seems like a case of authorial fiat. Granted, I understand that you may have needed to do that to really get the story concept to work.
On that note, I'm not entirely fond of the way you blended in the reality of the game with what the players are narrating. It seems kind of abrupt towards the middle where it practically shifts into a whole different story.
On that note, it's too bad 3d illusion charged playing mats and figurines don't actually exist. Though I'm sure someone could use an Arduino, projectors and other technological tricks to cobble one up.
Now this brought back some great memories. Very well written for creating that D&D experience.
What stood out is how they all got the go-to snacks before starting into the game. You can't play D&D without pizza and soda. The chips are also a bonus. :)
The descriptions of iniative, spells, and general actions that required 'checks' was also very good. The penalties and bonuses for particular item changes went nice, too.

It's all good take your time if needed and go with whatever makes you happy. Also random other new party member idea: shadow tempest as a Padded patron Warlock, could be brought into the group by twilight.

pretty good story, I'll admit
As someone who is both a DL and into TTRPGs (Especially DnD) This story was surprisingly emotionally impactful even if it was not designed to be that way. I've wanted for a long time to have an irl diapered DnD session (or campaign) but I've heard that trying to do "kinky" DnD is full of logistical complications because everyone's kink(s) are different and at an irl game table it would be super easy for any one player to make any other player uncomfortable because it's impossible for everyone's kinks to align. Having said that I'd still love to try it out as an experiment and see if it could be made to work somehow.
