Ponies don't usually want apples this badly. Cider, sure—they'll line up for miles to get cider. But never have Applejack, Big Mac, and Granny Smith seen such a turnout for their apple stand alone.
Granny should have known better than to send the two bickering teenage foals on their own to get more inventory, but with the demand for the apples ever rising, she really had no other choice. And honestly, it would have been fine.
If only that pony hadn't bumped into Applejack.

Wow. Even as I figured out the twist, the impact wasn't lost. Great use of teenage AJ and Big Mac. The sense of urgency here was palpable too. Another well-done fic starring Best Pone.
