Coloratura can't handle her pop star career anymore. She wants something new, something more meaningful.

That's when he came into her life.

So, Coloratura got a haircut and enlisted in the military, as one does.

This made me laugh out loud, in a good way! She joined the military. As one does. :rainbowlaugh: I like the concept of this! I would like to see it continued with another chapter, if this isn't a one shot (Forgive me, I can't remember what this was tagged as).

My first thought was, "She joined the military. That isn't believable." But then I thought on what her current identity crisis is. It isn't necessarily that she doesn't know what she loves to do. Coloratura just isn't sure how she can turn her talent into something that MEANS something, seen when she compares herself to Applejack, Element of Honesty. It is also my personal belief that Coloratura isn't a shallow person by any means, but she is used to be told what to do, or "advised" as to what her next move should be. Honestly, she seems pretty chill with that as long as she knows her shows are helping someone. But she finds herself in a predicament where she has all the power, and she doesn't know what to do.
She demonstrates that same subconscious "follower" mentality when Soarin explains how he dealt with his identity crisis, latching onto the idea and running with it, also knowing that joining the military would benefit the ponies and country she loves so much. So for her, it is a win/win!

Just leaving a comment that doesn't add anything to anything, as one does.

Simple enough

I really hope that you continue the adventures of Coloratura - I wonder what would be her next career after the military... Detective? Spy? Firefighter?
And all with the blase attitude! :rainbowlaugh:

You just know the Equestrian Air Force would be all over the chance to turn Coloratura into an entertainer representing them.
(As one do > :ajsmug:

Just by going how complementary/similar their color schemes are, Soarin' and Coloratura could be related for all we know
