This story is a sequel to Equestrian Life
Dex has been knighted, but he has no idea what he wants to do with his life. As the only human in Equestria, what could he do? The following is a series of short stories detailing his life and adventures in gaining his own special talent and dealing with his situation, in no chronological order.
For best results, read Equestrian Life first. The Chaos Within is also a good read, but definitely not required as these stories happen beforehand.

I saw the update on The Chaos Within and saw the Days of our Dex link. When I clicked it, I noticed it was a-
Never mind; since this has the same picture as Equestrian Life, I thought you deleted that story and replaced it with this, and I thought I did that editing for nothing.

Yeah, I was worried that the cover pic would confuse someone. I wish I had a scanner so I could make a new one for this story (explained in the blog post). Sorry for the confusion.
...and then I changed it to a generic picture of the movie 'The Last Samurai' and put my dreams of the perfect cover picture in the trash...

I can't. Once 'The Chaos Within' begins, there's no days free for him to relax and do what he wants, even sort out feelings. I'd like to, but before CW starts, they're just friends.

Nice chapter though, I especially like how you went in depth about the mechanics behind the engine. It was a very nice touch and added some needed depth to the story.
Right about now, I really wish I had a scanner, or some semblance of skill with Paint. I want to draw the engine Dex made that I have in my head.
