Every town has one: the store that nobody goes into. The one that doesn't sell anything ponies want. In Ponyville, this store is "Inkwell Commissions," run by a reclusive writer-for-hire. Trying to befriend this reclusive pony, Twilight asks for a story about Changelings, thinking that the two of them can bond over the writing process. Little does she know that she is about to get swept up into an adventure straight out of a Daring Do novel! One with the REAL Daring Do: small-time author with a big-time attitude named Pennington Inkwell!

Since Pennington is an author, Twilight seemed like the natural choice for the pairing. Not to mention, Twilight's all-around great, and one of my favorite ponies!
I've had trouble writing about/as Twilight before, so this will be good practice for stepping into a new character.

Finding Forrester, I already explained in the my previous comment, but yeah It's a movie about an author(Sean Connery) lives in a run down condo in the Bronx as a recluse, one day a teenager breaks into his home, leaves his back pack there and said guy find his bag on the ground with his own story marked with notes and thus begins a friendship between the two of them.
Big Fish is film by Tim Burton(one of the few I really like) and that is about a man who's father is dying and recounts his youth to his son(Ewan McGregor) about these fantastic tales believed to be fiction and the son attempts to relive these events, but only finding out the stories told to him are real events blurring fact and fiction.
Let this be a lesson: Always close the blinds when you know you're getting stalked!

believe it or not there's a Firefox add-on that allows you to upgrade Fimfiction.net's dropbox icons and add things like you tube videos and and ton of other neat things. First download: Grease monkey Firefox add-on. , This is located on the official Mozilla website. Then download: FIMfiction Enhancements for Grease monkey, click install and restart Firefox and click the grease monkey icon to enable or disable it.

I would have ended the last scene a little earlier, but every time I tried to find a good cutoff point, it all seemed to end poorly.
