Against a demonic army of ponies and against all odds, but with the Elements of Harmony at his side there's nothing any them can't handle. But all is not well as Twilight has doubts about her young ward, which may be due to the fact that she has no memory of even meeting or knowing Bright Blade. What could this mean?

A good rule of thumb for writing is to start the story on the day thats different, attempting to hook the reader into the story and get him/her committed to the fate of the characters. By making the main character not remember his background, you simultaneously bypass the need to immediately provide context for the character (allowing you to start the action/drama sooner) and take a cheap shot at our interest in the story by means of natural curiosity.
