You still need to show Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Candace, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie, Twilight's family and her canterlot friends and of course Sunset Shimmer reaction to dragon twilight. You could get some hijinks in with the portal. Would Twilight become a dog? Or would she come through like a biker like Ember did on the Equestria Club Story?
