Affection therapy: a new and innovative practice in Equestria wherein the patient/subject is calmed and relaxed through simple displays of platonic affection, such as ear scratches, nose boops, and belly rubs. It's surprisingly effective, and leaves the pony happy and content. The strangest thing, however, is that you, a simple human living in Ponyville, 'invented' this practice completely by accident.
*I wrote this a long time ago, before Every Little Thing She Does aired. The first chapter takes place between No Second Prances and that episode, and I decided to touch it up and release it now as an early Christmas gift to you guys, as a simple piece of cute, platonic fluff. More to come, too, when I find the time and inspiration.

I noticed in Daring Don't, that they'd changed out her body model with the more alicorn/supermodel-style, belly sloping up towards her her flanks instead of the belly-type that she'd had previous and the others still have. 'Course that's also when I noticed her horn was just a touch sharper/longer, and she was a teensy bit taller.
I'm not sure how much he knows her, but I always think it is odd how nervous they suddenly are about a friend or someone from which they know aren't suddenly an asshole because of turning into a princess.
Are their any storys in which a Human is doing something like this and suddenly the ponys thinks they are dating? You know doing stuff and suddenly you hear that others consider them to date. I would be more specific, but I think it is better to just collect what you can suggest me first.
Is he supposed to know what the Cutie Mark stuff meant for the ponys? I just want to know if this is the type of universe, where it is actually affecting them, or that type of unverse, where the ponys just focuse on that one talent and never try something new.
Sometimes it looks to me like Luna and Starlight had such difficult moments to make friends with others or that others looked weird at them, because they had a more similar way to think like Humans and that it maybe is to alien for the ponys in the show. (It is a bad explanation, but I can't do anything better right now.)

I would love to see more from this, and no if I understand one of your blogs right, then I don't think you would actually have to write every scene, describing that he goes to work would be enough, I'm actually hoping that one of his sessions starts to lead to a romance, maybe with Starlight since he already got that thank you kiss, or maybe with one of the rarely used ponys for a monogamus....well one pony and one human relationship. (forgot how to write that word)

Oh boy! What a love MLP Christmas Story here! I enjoyed your other story of Dave living a simple life in Equestria and I knew the moment of who I saw who the author was I knew it would be a grand tale. And I was not disappointed.
I really loved and enjoyed this one-shot here and I like the subtle little hint of us (the Reader) having a small crush on Starlight. Honestly there's not enough or any at all fanfics involving Starling in a romantic relationship with a Human which I would like to see. Honestly here is the closest I'll get to seeing that kind of story. Though the little Twilight part at the end was cute as well. Though who was the first pony? You mentioned it was an Earth Pony mare so Bon Bon or just a random Pony?
I would love to see a second part involving the Reader and Twilight in their session next, though I wonder how long us the Reader been in Equestria? As they've known Twilight as an Unicorn before her ascension into an Alicorn Princess, though it's strange how hesitant the Reader is when talking to her. I would believe they be friends beforehand or hoof in this case, but maybe not every day friends like Twilight is with hers. Like to know a little more on that.
That being said I'm favoriting this. I loved it that much. Thank you for a wonderful Hearth's Warming and Christmas story for everyone to enjoy. ^_^
