Good start on this story.

but as they entered they found Spike encased in ice with a look of terror. I can totally see the Shimmerverse version of Sunset doing that.

I'm kind of surprised this didn't get more attention. This is done rather well and you've got all the characters spot on. Keep up the great work. And I hope it works out in the end.
