Raise the sun

In this story, Celestia raises the sun, just as she has done every morning for thousands of years. As is expected of her.

Because raising the sun every morning is so incredibly easy. For Celestia or anypony I guess.

And later that day, Celestia and Twilight would take some minutes off, maybe have a walk past Celestia's garden.
"Hey, Celestia, today's sunrise was beautiful. Do you think I'll be able to raise the sun some day?"
"Raising the sun every morning is easy, Twilight. Anypony could do it."

I like the concept of the sun being a living, or semi-living being that's linked to Celestia, and that they are dependent on eachother in some way. It makes the entire story of the sisters raising their celestial bodies both more powerful, but it also fits the universe well. Eternal is a story which pops to mind where I saw this first. There the sun is taking her anger out on Celestia after years of betrayal. And a certain studious unicorn comes to help.

Anyhow. Have a thumb for the old and tired sun.
I'm on the sun's side in this. Mornings are cruel.

Well, you sumed the whole thing up nicely. But sometimes, I wonder how others manage to raise the sun every morning...
The bright side of things is that they do.
