It is not impossible for Sunset to have had a... mistake in high school that prompted her to give away Solstice (the product) as soon as she was born.

This is a couple years after the friends have graduated from Canterlot High. So about two or three years.
Btw Keep in mind that time works differently in the two worlds. In Equestria the friends have jobs and are living on their own while in the human world they are still in High School.
I doubt that Sunset is old enough to give birth to Sol in her current body.
Plot-wise, the story is like a reverse Little Mermaid so far.
And this pretty much confirms that Sunset's a mom in a teenage body.
I like to see her confront her Father I'm sure he in prisoned I bet.

I've read my fair share of stories with weird dreams, but this one is somehow more crazy- for lack of a better word- than other dreams I've read. And 'crazy' in a good-ish way.

Seriously? They are carrying Solstice by motorbike?! Did they also carried her in bike to the house too? (it wasn't mentioned)?
That's absurdly irresponsible from everyone/pony else. Solstice has been a human for just a few minutes and she's still getting used to her new body shape. Now she has to literally hang on the driver for her life, while being distracted by being in a whole new world and the whole "meet your mother" thing. Worst case, Sunset should have arranged a taxi if nobody had a car.
For some reason, I feel that Raven Nevermore is just the inner-hatred Solstice has for Sunset for leaving her, but was strong enough to become a spirit. Now they are one again, I think one would consume the other...
Anyway, great chapter. The Plot Thickens

That doesn't mean I dont have an argument to consider bikes riskier, though: what's the price for an insurance (for injuries towards people) for cars vs. bikes? Where I live the law-mandated insurance for bikes costs around thrice the cost for cars. And considering the cost of an insurance is a measure of the rish the insurance company can allow itself, then I can only conclude that, in broad strokes, bikes are riskier for personal injuries than cars.
That doesn't even consider Solstice is in a new body and in a whole new world. She might lost concentratoin and lose her grip on the driver more easily just because she saw a huge advertising poster. And that's the kind of line of thinking at least her own mother should have thought.
