wait....how they die if scootaloo seems pretty young still? That could be expanded on a bit, but otherwise good little sad-fic.

Hm...

I'm not usually one for sad stories.

I've read enough of them though. And this may be one of the best.

So much feel from such a short story. You sir have done your job well.

I really enjoyed it, I just sorta wonder what happened with everyone if Scootaloo is still youngish (as in like prime time of life) and has little fillies. If the Mane 6 died saving Equestria, then Big Mac would possibly still be alive. The way the story is written with the list of deceased characters make it seem as if they died of old age.

Besides that discrepancy, great quick read.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I had a paragraph describing more of Scoots past (was busy flying, didn't have settle down until she was older), but I decided not to focus on it. I was trying to jam in a ton of backstory, but decided to remove most of it because I didn't want an alternative future for equestria to be the focus of the story.

That was really pretty

Hmm. Not the most original concept, but there are some good twists that I haven't seen before. Scootaloo with a family is certainly an intriguing thought, as is the juxtaposition of her perspective on the Elements with Celestia's- many writers have expounded on the Cutie Mark Crusaders growing up or on one of the Elements remembering the others personally, and many have discussed the immortal Princess's attitude on her mortal subjects, but having one of each such character meet to compare viewpoints was new and interesting. I also liked the ending, and its new perspective on the crowd at the Summer Sun Celebration.

this was beautiful.... absolutely beautiful:fluttercry:
Bravo just bravo, i simply adore a story that can bring a tear to my eye:raritycry:

Nicely done. It's proper Celestia and Scootaloo would visit that site, considering its location.
