This story is a sequel to Equestria's Got Talent
Twilight Sparkle has made the biggest mistake of her life, letting Trixie do research. Before she knows it, Trixie has used an experimental spell and accidentally switched places with her, a legal complication has made Trixie a princess, and things go downhill from there.
(Woo! A sequel to a sequel! You don't really have to read the first part of the series, but you kind of do need to read Equestria's Got Talent or this will be pretty confusing :P)

It seems like I haven't had the problems I anticipated due to the idea being done before and being a sequel to a sequel, this is the fastest I think I ever got 10 likes and 100 views on a story, so that's good :P
Anyway I'll try to put more descriptive language in there, I get what you're saying. And I am hoping to get to the stage pony bit soon, although there's another part to get through first x3

You know with all this chaos looming at the horizon it makes me wonder why Discord isn't watching this with a bag of popcorn. I mean Twilight going to do a magic show while Trixie is going to do a duel against Spike, well it seems pandemonium is knocking on the door.

Okay...I'll confess I'm only skimming this latest-to-first to see how much interaction there is between Spike and Trixie (very little, it seems), but now I have a burning question. Why was Luna cheering for Trixie instead her own fellow princess's (or sister's student's) lifelong dragon companion? And why did make armor for Trixie, but none for Spike? Is this the racist version of Luna?
6686532 I am planning to make a more Spike-centered story soon as the next part of this series, I'm just a bit Trixied out at the moment so I'd like to do some other things first. I'd like to focus on how Spike is doing as the king of dragons, and I'm thinking of having a story where he and Trixie work together to rescue Twilight or something along those lines.
As for Luna, I'll be honest and admit I didn't really think much about who she'd side with, but I do have an explanation I can retcon in :P By the time this story came around, Trixie would probably have been Twilight's student for a while, and likely visited Luna in Canterlot quite a bit, while Spike would have been away in the Dragon Kingdom most of the time. So Luna would just see Trixie more often and get to know her better. Luna definitely isn't a racist, I can say that much :P

6686532 It was because at the time, Luna was rooting for the one representing her own country, plus, Spike is a dragon, we've seen him used as a pin cushion and a jack hammer. He don't need no armor!
