In this story, which takes place in an alternate universe, you will come to know why Spike and Luna were not present at the last Gala. This is a short story of Love between two unlikely, but so likely souls. Of two outcasts finding a norm in each other. And learning why the Gala, with all its hype, might just be overrated. At least for Spike and Luna it is.
*The only difference in this universe is that Spike didn't go to the Gala.*

A very cute story with the added bonus of featuring my favorite couples. Although as a small bit of advice from an avid reader, not a writer, the story seems a little rushed. The time between Spike worrying over his crush about Rarity, and then him going for Luna should've been a bit slower. Really let the characters get a feel for each other and allow them to interact a bit more realistically and freely. So this might have been better as a two part-er but that is just my opinion. Anyways fun story and I hope you follow this up someday.
Was a little too fast but I enjoyed it nontheless. Also why did Pinkie Pie tell a Pinkie Secret? Like... she must have gotten carried away?
