Two guardsponies have been assigned to watch a door that leads into the Canterlot Castle gardens. Without much to do and their post barely over, the only entertainment they have is themselves and whatever they can speak of.

Really, the only flaw this story has, is the fact that it is almost all dialogue. It could have benefited from details of what was going on around Wide Angle and Straight Arrow.

But I guess it could also work the way it is by making it read as if you are focused on only the guards' conversation, like the guards themselves, in order to make the ending more of a shock to the reader.

I give it a 4/5, great work!
