Parties, Preening, and PTSD - VitalSpark

Vinyl Scratch is living with the memories of a traumatic event. Octavia Melody is not sure whether her love for the mare is enough to overcome Vinyl's self-destructive behaviour. Can Vinyl put the past in the past? Oh, and some clop!

That last line was far too adorable. You should be ashamed of yourself. :raritywink:

5943980 Well, it had to all be building up to something, didn't it?

Soooooooo Sweeeeeeeeet!:pinkiesad2:

That last line was fucking beautiful.

5947225 Thanks. Vinyl's explanation of the difference between an alicorn and a winged unicorn was originally going to be in chapter 3, but once I came up with Octavia's response, then I knew it needed to be moved into an epilogue.

I like it, just didn't feel consistant enough.

I gotta say i liked the story. My biggest problem was that as someone who suffers from PTSD and due to a traumatic event who does deal with self destructive behavior I didn't find Vinyl relatable at all and because of of that it did diminish my enjoyment of the story. As I said it was quite well written and an overall enjoyable story but vinyl just wasn't relatable enough for what I was expecting from the title and description

the sad thing is, Raiden has PTSD. It's sad to see him have a attack, but he was blushing the whole time reading this. :3

The story was a good piece. But there were two things in it that would of made it a lot better. First the epilogue, even though it is supposed to be short, I feel like this one need to be longer and have more details. Second, PTSD, you almost hit he true meaning of it, but not as quite. The clop scenes, however, were really detailed so good on you there, I loved reading them. In all this story is a great piece for anyone who love Vinyl and Octavia Shipping. I have read worse so your on the right track. Even though there were no "I love you" statements in this fiction, I could somewhat feel the connection between the two. In all, it was a good read. And if I were still a critic, Id rate yours 3 out of 5.
