Why is Rarity a Nord? She should be an Imperial or at least a Breton, Nords are more like Applejack. Probably an Imperial though, Twilight would make a better Breton with her magic and all.
Either way a pretty good read, I would have switched more names to fit the MLP universe, like Whiterun to Whitegallop (which I invented for my own story) but we aren't all robots so everyone's different. Good luck.

If the latter, then I'll explain a bit.
Pinkie Pie comes from Solitude, because as the name suggests, "Solitude." She was Pinkamena Diane Pie, remember? Untill a Rainbow Dash led her to Whiterun with a Sonic Rainboom. And Pinkie Pie got a job as a guard XD As you can see from some of the quotes I used :)
And Pinkie Pie's shouts are mainly "Whirlwind Sprint" (you know Pinkie XD) and "Become Ethreal." She's that random.

no it's that the story is choppy also anyone can learn shouts,it is implied that ulfric stormcloak is dovahkiin when he is not but instead trained for many years with the graybeards, there can be only one, also they are the best of friends a little shouting would not get in the way of that. you do an unusual job of expressing the character's thoughts.

That's just it. They want to PROVE that they are the Dovah-um...pony. Of course, they don't believe each other, because Luna (Ulfric Stormcloak xD) and her Shadowbolts (Stormcloaks) used the Thu-um against Celestia (um..the Imperial...leader...guy) and the Wonderbolts (Imperials).
PS. This also explains that Rainbow Dash wants to join the Imperials xD
