Pinkamena Diane Pie: Element of Harmony, hero, writer, poet, coffee shop employee. Unfortunately, sometimes the first two can cause problems with the last part. Sure, "saving Equestria from certain disaster" is a great excuse for being late, but it does nothing to sooth cranky ponies who want their coffee and donuts. This sometimes leaves Pinkamena -- and her boss -- in a position of choice. Is a threat immediate and dangerous enough that Pinkamena has to deal with it, can somepony else handle it, or can it wait until she finishes her shift?
When a familiar threat appears that nopony other than she recognizes, it is up to her to figure out how to deal with a crisis she knows is coming while also keeping up with business.
Soooo...who is it?

You're missing a LOT of detail in this chapter. To the point that this chapter is actually hard to read.

That was a very nice ending chapter. Thank you for writing this, and I love how you handled the characters. Your take on Lt. Sparkle and how you juggled her neuroses in particular was just perfect.

I have to say, Pinkie, or rather, Pinkamena is a very unique pony here, we've seen Cupcake Pinkiamena's, we've seen depressed Pinkie's, and we saw a few Rock Farm Pinkie's, but this is quite new. Respectable, calm, patient and level headed, the near opposite of Classic Pinkie.
Have to say tho, it would be interesting to see Pinkamena go, Pinkie, so to speak, maybe she drinks a particularly volatile coffee mixture, and then goofy mane and crazy antics galore, certainly would be interesting to see it play in this universe.
Love the story, hope you make more like it.

If you liked this version of Pinkie/Pinkamena, you should go let Crowmagnon know. This story is set up in his eclipseverse, which he has completed two stories in and has two more currently in progress. All the characters are based on his interpretation of them for that particular universe, and -- in point -- he even read through each chapter before publishing to ensure they were at least close.
As for more like it, it is highly unlikely. I have several series of my own to work on as well as some other stand-alones and one-shots I want to write. I won't say it's completely impossible though, because this idea came to me and would not leave me alone until I wrote it.
