INtersting so far but, please, please, the only thing i really hate in those MÇP crossovers with super-heroes is that ponies are ALWAYS so weak that they look like a landscape. Please, make this one of those stories where they are relevant, that they can fight...like theirmagic being able to disrupt the energon flux or something like that.

Also, the Transformers are based on their Prime incarnations, so Starscream doesn't have a null ray, but I know what you're talking about. And while the crystal ponies are essentially living Energon batteries, utilizing that energy would require "processing" them. Not something the Autobots would openly endorse, don't you think?

As for you choice of Transformes: Prime autobots as the heroes, only make things better, since only Beast Wars manage to be better, among the transformes series, then the Prime. Better Optimus, IMHO, a real leader and strategist. So bad they ended the series.

I happened to see this story on the homepage and decided to give it a look. My only knowledge of Transformers is from the Michael Bay movies (sorry), so I can't comment on their characterization. But I will say that it seems like you're making the story up as you go along, even more so than most fanfics. I say this because in Chapter 2, they decide that Bumblebee should act as an ambassador for the Autobots and get the ponies accustomed to his species - which I really wanted to see. But then he only talks to Twilight, and they forget about him talking to the other ponies and it's never mentioned again. And then when they get to the Crystal Empire, Optimus decides that he will be the one to warn the crystal ponies, for no apparent reason.
Also, accept for Twi (and Pinkie, sort of), the Mane 6 haven't been given anything to do, despite the M6 tag on this story. They're just there out of obligation. And there's something else missing that every good crossover needs. It needs scenes of just the characters from one world discussing what they think about the new world or cast of characters. It's a way of breathing life into the characters and making the most of the crossover.
This fanfic has potential, it just needs improvement.

Then, Ratchet discovered an immense Energon deposit, which was deemed important enough for the Autobots to investigate. The Mane 6 came along because they know the planet better than the Bots do. When the Decepticons were discovered, Optimus sent Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee to scout the area and watch out for hostile forces. That's what Bumblebee does. He's a scout. Optimus spoke with Cadance and Shining Armor because he knows the enemy best, and could most easily explain the situation without causing a panic.
While the Mane 6 are there out of some sense of obligation on my part, they will have important roles. They're going to just sit there going "ooh, ahh" at the giant robots fighting each other.
For the most part, however, you're right. Whenever I write, I write whatever comes to as it pertains to the subject. It's worked out well for me so far, though. It's just my style. Let me worry about how I write the story. You just worry about reading. Sorry if that makes me sound like an ass, but that's how I do things.

I'll admit, I'm a little cocky myself, but I couldn't care less if this story was the single most popular thing in existence. If people like it, cool. If they don't like it, fine.
