Once a frog, now just an orange.
Once a diamond, now a common rock.
For better or for worse, their paths have crossed. Their lives will be forever and irreversibly changed as the two struggle together to accept and understand their new identities, as well as their newfound feelings toward one another.
And Tom was silent.
Wow, I must say this story was truly random in every sense in my opinion. I actually felt weirded out in certain parts, but in the end I had to chuckle at it.
It's just the whole experience of an orange talking with a rock that really got me to read this whole story through.
The dialogue the feels and everything as far as the execution of the story seems good in my opinion.
I have to a few sentences that I feel should've been together rather than two seperate sentences, like when you wrote, "Tom didn't say no. But he didn't say yes." That could be put together in one sentence and add also for a good flow with that sentence and it would still get the point across, but that's just my opinion.
But overall grearly written story, I like it. :)
Is it sad that this romp of randomness struck my feels far more severely than fiction engineered to do so?
It was beautiful.

If it makes you feel sadder, by all means, feel free to believe so.
Your confused tears will be delicious.
The greatest love story told in just 2.8k words.
So beautiful.
How the hell can an orange and a rock make me FEEL these FEELS?!
time for a cliche line,
still a better love story then twilight.
