I really like this story. It reminds me of a geode. Very rough around the edges but with something wonderful beneath it. I found some of the naming a bit odd though, but perhaps that is just me. (I thought Fire Cracker might have been better off as Fire Ruby)
Also why does Fire Cracker a Crystal Pony have fire-bending abilities?! Not sure if I should ponder that or chuckle at it.
