I like endings like this, especially in monologues. They always seem more powerful than they really are; in reality they're usually deafeningly simple, but in context they seem to have weight. This story as a whole is beautiful. I loved Brief Hiatus and I love this. Keep writing like this, I implore you. I will be watching.

yea, I have been trying to think how it would go about but its hard to think of logical ways of how to do it, like is he gonna drag her body around, perserve it?, will the mane 6 / rainbowdash get involved? The show didn't make it easier too.

Well I wanted to build on this idea that I you with where Daring Do is trying to comprehend that she liked and enjoyed playing with Ahuizotl more than she thought, and why she didn't kill him when she had the opportunity. Meanwhile, I also wanted to toy with the idea that TheMessenger (for whom the fic was written) touched upon where Ahuizotl realized he was in love with Daring Do only once he had killed her.
