Flash Sentry hasn't had it easy. He's been a blank flank much longer than any of the other fillies and colts. His time in flight school hasn't been easy either. Not only does he crash in pretty much any race that isn't a straight shot, he's been tormented by a bully that has been assigned as his year-long racing opponent.
Thankfully, his home life is fairly ordinary, but with a widowed unicorn father, learning how to live and grow as a pegasus hasn't been easy.
However, when his scientist father has a sudden kickstart in his research, Flash's life starts to take a turn. He'll discover more about himself and his nature than he ever knew, and learn just how much like his mother he really is.

Well that was fun. We get Equestria's Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison (Eddy Sun. Eddy Sun. That cracked me up), a cameo by filly Twilight as nameless child prodigy and so many questions about Flash's mother. Take my like and favorite and us them to offset the horde of anti-Flash downvotors.
A few minor mistakes, though:
Forgot to start a new paragraph for the new speaker.

Okay, I like this. A lot. I wanna punch Strike in the face with a skyscraper, admittedly. I do like Flash here, and his father cracks me up. The big thing I think of with him is the guy from the Thomas Dolby video 'She Blinded me with Science'!

As for Flash and the hate, while I do get he naturally won't be everyone's favorite, the sheer loathing some people have for him legit baffles me. He's not my favorite character, but I do like the guy. Hell, the hate he gets gives him an 'underdog' quality for me.
Eh, I don't see Flash as a 'bully'. He didn't know about Strike's father, And 'showing up' is a lot less than what Strike was doing to him. It's like with Babs. The CMC weren't bullies with her, IMHO.

It may not have been as extreme, but he was taking any chance to antagonize Strike for that whole week. Had it gone on longer he might well have gotten more and more aggressive without realizing it. It was close enough to bullying for him to feel like one in that moment.
