After the battle against Ragyo Kiryuin, Senketsu did not truly perish.
Traveling across the universe as a Primordial Life Fiber, he falls to a new planet in pursuit of a dangerous enemy and must now fight to protect this world from destruction. His only hope rests in mysterious boy who takes him to a school full of talented youths in search of one who can wear Senketsu and unleash his power. good work on the first chapter, a great opening. this is the fan fiction I've been waiting for since the last episode aired on hulu. keep up the good work. one question tho, will the mane 6 be getting 3star uniforms? or will they try and recreate the Kamui for each of them. no need to answer that last one, just needed to voice the question.

I'm still figuring out my plans for the Mane 6 for the most part, but I do know who Senketsu is going to be worn by. Emerl won't be his true partner, but just wore him for this occasion. I will say, however, that I will be creating some of my own dynamics because when you throw in magic the rules we knew in Kill la Kill can most definitely be stretched a bit here and there. Still, there will of course be limits, but I want this to be an evolution of the original concept, not just retreading the same old things.

Already working on the second chapter. Depending on how much I write and how fast, I might just reach the point where I have to wait until Friendship Games airs before I can continue. This story, while showing events of Equestria Girls and Rainbow Rocks, will be largely focused on the third movie, as is probably obvious from the fact that Emerl and Coco are ex-Crystal Prep students.

that's good to hear, one of may main peeves in fan fiction is that people don't take enuf liberties with the martial they are using, when there is so much potential for originality. also my guess for Senketsu's partner, its ether going to be Sunset Shimmer or Rainbow Dash, strongly leaning towards Sunset because of the similarity with Ryuko.

Sure, she'll use some recreated scissor blades at some point in time, but her primary weapon is going to be something special to her, a kind of weapon I always considered perfect for her, and just so happens to also be a pretty good one for fighting clothing.

6412279 Yeah, he's kinda like Satsuki in that he's capable of wearing a Kamui, but Senketsu isn't meant to be his. It was just a spur of the moment usage. Granted, he's definitely paying for it so far in the second chapter as of this moment. I know that Senketsu being worn full time by a guy just wouldn't be right, no matter how compelling I make Emerl. He'll have his own means of being a badass, though.

6583596 For the premise of this story, what pretty much happened at the Kill la Kill finale is just that Senketsu sent Ryuko down to earth with a shell of himself that he controlled remotely while his core went after Nui. He wanted to let her live freely and take care of Nui/Koketsu himself.

I hope the jokes got a reaction too. They just flowed out onto the paper for me in this chapter, what with Applejack mishearing Senketsu's name as Sam Kethup, (For those that don't get it.) and Pinkie's funny-farm bit. I hope I was able to get at least a little chuckle out of you all.

I hope that what happened with Philomena got an emotional reaction, as I was really aiming for a gut-wrenching feeling, but as the writer I find it hard to judge whether my work can get that feeling out of my readers since I know so much more about my own story in minutia and that affects my perception.

The way I'm interpreting it, Ryuko and Senketsu each left a little piece of themselves in the other, which is my way of explaining how Senketsu's image appeared to Ryuko in the OVA episode. I don't know if Ryuko would have a normal human life span or not, but if she did, then she'd be long dead by the time this story starts. Senketsu and Koketsu were traveling through space for a long time.

Her human cells could very well age normally and pass away, and the life fibers in her would die with her, but at the same time they could very well extend her life and keep her young. There's no way of knowing for absolute sure given what's in the show.

Philomena's ring and part of Senketsu, really. And do remember that according to the information I've provided more subtly, the sirens have only had a week of training with Goku Uniforms, so they aren't even quite at the level of the first time Ryuko fought any of the Elite Four.

That whole bit with Philomena dying needlessly was a huge gut-wrenching risk, but I understand why it's necessary for the story (assuming you're going in the direction it seems like you are), and you handled what we've seen of the aftermath so far well. I was particularly happy to see Flash show Emerald exactly what he thought of his plan,
Also, you really have a thing for gauntlets, don't you?

7042650 I probably would have done something like that if Nudism was Emerald's thing, but at the same time, nothing can match the gleaming glory of Aikuro Mikisugi's nipples and crotch. I would be a fool to try to immitate it. Besides that, it would clash with his true ideal, symbiosis with Life Fibers. Glad you felt such strong emotion for Philomena, though. As the writer, it can be hard for me to tell if my story can pull those feelings out of my readers since I am desensitized to it from running it through my head hundreds of times.
