I didn't know that Dark Seduction was eventually implying a DiamondSpike, for the longest part there's a SweetieSpike, and definitely a SpikeChystalis, and potentially a oldie-but-goodie: SpikeDancer (Spike X Moondancer, which is basically more canon than Sparity it looks like)

Celestia dangit. Great premise, short and cute. But that is easily 2k at least of buildup, character interaction right there. The start alone would of made for another 1k-2k.
This is such a tease of one of my favorite DT ships. These two just work together. Attitude wise. I mean, it would likely not go far since most childhood crushes never last. But darn if it isn't the one with the most potential for awesome.

EDIT: Stuff turned out to be mainly word choice and few typos like "meet" instead of "met" and something else. I'd say this story is worth fleshing out. You could easily squeeze out a chapter with each of those first two paragraphs.
I love this ship, and I like the idea of this story... But it needs a lot of work and editing I couldn't even get a third of the way into it before the awkwardness of the dialogue and writing made me want to stop.
Remember: A good editor and prereader will make a story better.
