I saw what I think was the second Guyver movie a while ago so I read this. It's certainly interesting, and perhaps not Fluttershy's smartest move.

3730659 Correct. Plus we never really ever get to see guyver 0, all we are ever told are that he was the first Human who used a Bio-Boosting Armor unit and turned against the Creators. Which is why it is Guyver which is out of control in the alien language. On another note, the Human is conscious it's just that being lab rats all their life leaves little reason to develop a culture or language.

3731793 Kekekekekekeke, I kinda know the feel. I've just started work on my first fanfic. Which is going to be a crossover that takes place a very long time after the end of the last game. That way I can sorta make up a ton of stuff and mold it to better fit the Equestrian world. Just thinking up and figuring out what the character's ancestry and connections to past events in the MLP:FiM universe is enjoyable and exciting, especially when I get a sudden bit of inspiration. I mention all this because your sort of in a similar position; using a character that we fans know next to nothing about leaves a large amount of freedom while still giving a few general directions for the character to go. I just I hope Guyver 0 doesn't accidentally blowup half the town or something like that...

I mean he nearly destroyed the Creators all by himself until a certain Zoalord, with pointy ears, removed the Guyver from him and then incinerated him along with the unit. Although I am given freedom with this character I want to try and keep a character which we are given very little insight and make him a well developed character

3744365 Not mutated, he's a cro-magnon era human. In the Guyver universe aliens engineered the evolution of humans with the specific purpose of using them as the base for very powerful bio-weapons. It was going well until they had the genius idea to equip a human with one of their Bio-Boosting Guyver units. The unit made the human hundreds of times more powerful than a Creator wearing a unit. Plus, the guyver unit freed it's host from the Creators mental control, giving him his free will back. He slaughtered many creators, so the creators deemed the earth experiment a failure and left. Also, Guyver isn't the real name of the bio-boosting armor that our character wears. In the creators language, Guyver means "out of control", a reference to the fact that he was immune to their mental control.

In regards to this chapter, this is wonderfully reminiscent to what happened the first time Sho equipped his Guyver Unit. Guyver 0 putting a rose in fluttershy's hair is a wonderful touch. And it makes sense that the Guyver would just shrug off what he just did. After all, he would be more than used to violence at this point.

3747416 The whole point of the experiment was to create a highly intelligent and slightly aggressive species to use as the base for the Zoanoids, Zoalords(links!), and other sapient Bio-Weapons. The mental control did nothing more than ensure that the humans wouldn't start fighting each other or the Creators. The humans were still intelligent and thus able to strategize and think on their feet in a fight. The Creators wanted weapons that would be smart enough to carry out orders without having to be told every single thing they had to do, a species of living weapons that could adapt.
Let me put it this way; What would you prefer if you were going to be using an army of these bio-weapons; having to control nearly every action of every soldier or only needing to give them a goal, some rough instructions on how to go about it and what not to do? Personally, I would choose the latter.

3879335 Max Reed doesn't exist for two reasons:
One; He was a character that only existed in one of the live action films, not the anime or manga, which is where this fic is getting it's information and main character.
Two; Even if Max did exist in the main canon of the anime/s and manga, he won't be born for a few million years. This is because Guyver 0 lived around a million years, or several million years, before the present era.
