Kissy honses

E

When the fair comes to Ponyville, Twilight agrees to go with Pinkie Pie. She sees it as the perfect opportunity to express her feelings for the pink mare… but how will Pinkie respond?
This is pre-Twilacorn Twilight.

Not what I expected. But yeah, funnel cake goes to eleven!
I hope you didn't write this story just to use that joke at the end, did you? :pinkiehappy:

Honestly, that joke was eleveth hour, last minute addition through red-eye shenanigans. The ending actually was just going to be very abrupt. Glad I decided to hold off and fix it!

dis was realy gud :pinkiegasp:

TwiPie is a ship that can be taken in a few directions, but this is probably the first one I've read that focuses on Twilight confessing to Pinkie Pie instead of the other way around. And I like how you interpret that change.

As hard as it would be for somepony like Pinkie Pie to confess her feelings to anypony, Twilight would have just as much as of a hassle confessing to somepony as bubbly as Pinkie Pie. And you pull off the confession perfectly.

You also score props for making Twilight want to be more like Pinkie Pie. We're all suppose to think that Twilight at best accepts Pinkie Pie for her unsual quirks, never would anyone imagine Twilight would envy Pinkie Pie for it, or want to do what Pinkie Pie does. And that's what makes this feel so special, and unique.

I've tackled Twipie a couple times before. Oddly enough, they're all Twilight confessing to Pinkie. I find that Pinkie is more emotional, so having her react is a larger payoff.
I think it's also in the show that Twilight values Pinkie because she invites her to many important tasks, such as breaking in to the Canterlot archives.

If you enjoy Twipie, you should check out some of my other stories as I've tackled it a couple times before.
Truly Irreplaceable focuses on a hiccup in a relationship, specifically a fight between the two ponies.

All For a Smile is about a relationship that is about to end, and loss.

Twilight's Curiosity, Pinkie's Magic is a bit sillier and honestly, one of my older stories, so it may not be that good anymore.

Taking a Chance on Love is about a confession that doesn't quite go right. I'm still kinda proud of it since it's not all that common, especially in a Twipie.

Thanks for your time in reading this story and if you get a chance to read the others, I hope you enjoy them!

3702052 I'll look into em and see what I think. Might take some time though.

Hey, it's your time. I'm just grateful you enjoyed this story. :pinkiehappy:

3702052 I read over your other TwiPie stories.

All For a Smile was great. It took me a while to realize what the problem was, but it hit me hard once it did. There are some things that even love can't solve. :pinkiesad2:

Truly Irreplaceable was very intresting, not a lot of fics can make a believeable relationship conflict.

Twilight's Curiousity, Pinkie's magic despite it being an earlier fic is still good. The romance aspect did seem to come out of nowhere, it felt almost like a last minute addition. :trixieshiftleft:

Taking a Chance on Love, well Pinkie Pie's rejection came across as OOC for her. Pinkie Pie would never be that blunt about someone's flaws. Rainbow Dash or Applejack probably would, and Fluttershy might if pressured enough. But Pinkie Pie would bottle it up if she could make said pony happy. In secret she would probably vent how she really feels.

Twilight smiled. “Oh! I think I have one of those!” Reaching behind her, she pulled out a small fruit slightly larger than a raisin.

Twilight why do you have one of those

She's a quick learner.
