I don't ship Octav3, but I really like this story. The flashbacks make a good headcanon (though not one I'll adopt since, again, I don't ship them). I really don't know what else to say.

I like it. If you envisioned the story to go further from this, you should write it. However I find it a neat little story with a good ending.
