Excuse me while I have to go and restart my heart. The DAWWW in this has killed me. Like Skeeter said, this is so fluffy and heart-warming. Fluttershy really is the best flyer; I do hope there's going to be an episode with some sort of situation like this in the next season (minus the romance, of course, though twishy would be nice).

However, it was a bit too short of a one-shot for me. You should definitely add a lot of descriptions about everything that Twi and/or Shy sees, feels, hears, etc.
Rule Number One. Write. ALL THE TIME.
Rule Number Two. Descriptions. Descriptions EVERYWHERE. On the floor, on the ceiling, in the dishwasher, on your butt. EVERYWHERE.

Instead of the word 'hurricane', use 'tornado'.
The episode was called 'Hurricane Fluttershy' but they were making a tornado to lift the water.

For some reason every time i read the word "Sweetheart" i got a good felling in my heart, that usually means that this is pure gold.

The cover art is so cute! Perfect for this story, really.
Warm, fuzzy,and tender. Both Twilight and Fluttershy were perfectly in character. A good, uplifting read after a long day.
..."sweetheart" kept throwing me. Like a lot. That's mainly on me, though. I usually don't stick my nose into stories where the two characters are already in the relationship. I dare say if this wasn't a "romantic" story it'd be even stronger.
Anyway, other than that, a very nice warmfuzzy Twishy! Don't see that every day.
Short, sweet, to the point; I like that sometimes, and it definitely works here. On top of that, I have this little fuzzy feeling inside from all of their adorable interactions.
The thing that's getting me, though...I know this was only meant to be a oneshot, but I sense potential for so much more. It's the writer's choice and his/hers alone what to do with his/her own story, but I thought I'd personally let you know that this little bit is like a taste test for a work with lots of potential for development.
Anyway, great job! ^_^ I hope to see more writing like this.
PS: Is the cover art, or at very least the style of the art, that of alskylark? It's almost too reminiscent not to be...

I'm not a fan of stories where shipping comes out of nowhere. It's forced and feels wrong.
One could argue that Fluttershy would be a better flight teacher.
Number of times Fluttershy has crashed < Number of times Rainbow has crashed.
There's going to be a map episode starring Twilight and Fluttershy. It's going to, like this, be absolutely adorable.
Huh, the relationship is already a done thing in this story. It's still cute and sweet, but not what I was hoping for. Oh well.
