What are you doing wasting time reading a bio? Go read good stories. Isn't that what you're here for?

T

As individuals, we’re defined by our experiences and memories. Like bubbles in concrete, a moment in time can stay with you for the rest of your life. Especially the painful memories. While testing a new spell, Twilight learns that she should really leave these alone, because some memories are better left buried.

Huh, I am intrigued. The memories are just vague enough to make it unclear what's going on at first, good to keep the mystery going. I also like that Applejack was thrown in the way instead of the old "Twilight messes up a spell" gimmick.

Making it see they can't be separated was a nice touch, too

Ohh.... This will be fun.

I appreciate that, it's what I was going for.

FYI: Twilight *might* have made a slight miscalculation :twilightoops:, but the spell did exactly what she designed it to do . Plus a few minor side-effects, of course :twilightsheepish:.

This is an amazing story. I know these stories take time and I just wanted to let you know that I can't wait to read the next chapter. It truly kept my attention the whole time, which is hard to do.

Keep up the excellent work!

*sigh* Yes it does take quite a bit of time to edit. Honestly, Level Dasher and I spent so much time editing my work that I sometimes forget I'M the one who wrote it in the first place.

If you liked chapter 2, how about chapter 3?

To everyone else reading out there in the astral space we call the internet: the next chapter will wrap the story up. And like all my stories: it's already written and ready to go. Catch it next Sunday!

Hmm, there's an expression for this kind of situation, what was it again?

Ah, yes, I remember now.

OH. SHI- :twilightoops:

*Releases breath* ...wow...

This is the kind of thing that's really hard to understand unless you've experienced it for yourself. It made for a very intense and emotional story. Well done!

I am glad you really liked it as opposed to "meh :ajbemused:, it was pretty good." I spent a lot of time getting it right, fixing errors, formatting, and all the other junk that goes into writing something quality. It's a great feeling when you're finished, but damn is it lots of work in the mean time :ajsleepy:. I can't imagine the time and energy going into some of the really big, epic fics.

Anyway, I'm working on my next story. Level Dasher is already firing up his editor's pen (keyboard) and I'm about 3/4th finished. If all goes well, we'll get it posted in a few weeks. :pinkiehappy:

Well, that's what happens when Twilight can't mind her business. :ajbemused:

Sooooooo...... no punching Twilight in the face for going through he most private, tragic memories? Drat!

Well, it wasn't on purpose, and she's gonna keep quiet about it.

FYI: I considered something like that at the end, but I decided that someone who went through such a loss would be a lot more mature, and AJ has always struck me as the most mature of the mane six :ajsmug:. I sort of played that up here.

3363334 I understand where you're coming from. Still, I would expect it to have more of an effect than shown with Twilight.and Applejack's relationship. Twilight breached the sanctity of her mind, that's got to leave her with some doubts about whether or not she could trust her again. Too bad we didn't see a folllow up.
