Twilight has a brand new pair of wings. Fluttershy’s pet bird is ready to fly. Scootaloo has been waiting her entire life to take wing. With Fluttershy’s help, they might soar into the wild blue yonder. Or make a gruesome crater.
It’s safe in your bed, in your house, and on the ground. Yet, the best things in life are never in our comfort zones. You’ll never know if you can fly until you’re standing on a cliff. Of course, that’s a huge risk. You can put it all on the line to reach your dreams, but who in their right mind would take such a chance? If you fail, who’ll be there to catch you when you fall?

I truly appreciate the sentiment. I put it in a few groups, posted it when there were plenty of people online, tried to get a good piece of cover art (I think it's an extremely well done piece), and wrote the best short description I could. That's after writing, editing, rewriting, editing, and editing some more.
Yet, I would keep writing if my story got only one view. The important thing to me is that the readers who do take the time to read something I made really enjoy the story.
I can certainly understand all of that, its fun to write and even if one person saw one of mine I would be happy
Still, it is a shame it is getting so ignored, I even tried a blog post for your story a while back but nothing. 3963383

Jumped the shark in this chapter. To much of the "overreact WILDLY while ignoring communication or previous experiences" trope for me. I mean really. Fluttershy and Dash are Twilight's best friends. They've done freaking everything together. I highly doubt that Twilight would jump immediately to the assumption of child abuse.
I stand by my comment about the overreaction trope, but the rest of the story was pretty good. Keep writing, I'd like to see what you put out with more practice!
3852309 No, I actually don't think Rainbow could teach her much about flying, since it comes so natural to her. I suppose it's like trying to teach a man who was born with deformed legs and just got prosthetic ones how to walk. You could try, but you would never really be able to do so that well.

The reason Rainbow would be a good teacher is because she is an expert. It takes someone with an impressive amount of knowledge on something to teach it because to teach something, you need to have semi-all-encompassing understanding on how it works. It's why Fluttershy couldn't do much else besides throw them at hoops. Flutters can provide encouragement, but not an excess of knowledge. That's my take on it anyways.
