Life is never dull at the Canterlot Castle. But it becomes really interesting once Discord embarks on a quest for friendship, once Princess Celestia finds out about a treacherous plot that could endanger the Elements of Harmony and once Princess Luna gets tasked with touring school fillies around.
And everyone’s favorite showmare, known to the whole wide world as The Great and Powerful Trixie, finds herself in the midst of it, tempted by an offer of magical power from a mysterious pony who claims to be a mere archaeologist…
As for the portrayal of Trixie and Discord in the story, they are both Season 3 accurate (post Magic Duel, post Keep Calm and Flutter On). Generally, it's set somewhere before the end of Season 3.
This story is a vital part of my Summer Genre Tour.
Hello and welcome to Reformed 101: Triscord!
I hope that you'll find reading it worthwhile - it's my little attempt of taking [Romance] tag into quite an unusual pairing, with a dose of [Comedy] brought by our beloved Princesses. It even has an adventuresque subplot!
More or less constructive criticism is encouraged, of course - don't hesitate to tell me what you think! And what if you stumbled upon this story, but it's not really your cup of tea? Worry not, as you are bound to find something amongst my other recent projects!

I will add this to my watchlist as it is a VERY unique pairing, and I've only vaguely seen it once before. A little paranoid that a story will not be continued so around the next chapter I'll start looking as I love Trixie ships and this one sounds like it'll be pretty amusing.
Oh dear my. This looks excessively promising. Discord x Trixie? That's a crack pairing, literally. As in "How much crack did you smoke before getting this idea?" But it could be a lot of fun. I like to think any pairing can be interesting to read, as long as it's written competently and is part of a proper plot.
I also like your take on Luna. Fun-loving and cheerful, instead of a dour stick-in-the-mud as she's so often portrayed. You haven't been reading the IDW comics recently, by any chance?

I about died. Congrats. I feel sorry for Trixie, she needs a good entity like Discord to be her special somepony.
I am canceling Reformed 101: Triscord. Reason: it turned out that I didn’t actually want to write a shipping between those two and I enjoyed writing lines for the Princesses than I did for Discord. The romantic part just didn’t seem to add up. I don’t feel I am at this point of my career in which I could write a gripping, believable and interesting romance. I apologize all those who were waiting for new chapters.

It's nice to hear that! What I meant was more like "it's not bad, but it would get worse if I continued it" back then. Although today I feel more confident than I was half a year ago, I have now other writing projects on my mind, so defrosting this one is unlikely.
