- I thought it would suit Bubble's personality to have him not sure of what he was doing, kind of switching attitudes and being a bit random/out of control for sharp contrast to Fluttershy. I will probably go over and edit it, but I desperately wanted to publish the chapter! I will probably extend this one - a lot - but I wanted to put down the bare bones of the plot to help me try and sort out what will happen to the others.

I did wonder if the romance was a bit rushed myself, and now that you mention it, the story would make more sense from a third person perspective.

Oh, uh, you're welcome... in fact I'd like to apologize for being so short in my comment. I was just so interested in this fic, then this chapter disappointed me -- but it looks much better now.

Wait wait, I am having brain activity right now.
Before I go off on a rant I would just like to warn everybody that in my up coming rant I am going to be doing a lot of generalization and stereotyping, mainly about the two genders, so please do not be offended, okay? Okay.
So if my understanding is correct, the two universes of rule 63, I'll call them universe M (Male universe) and universe F (female universe), they suppose to be the same, however, do to the fact that male and female brain chemistry and body chemistry is different, the two universes would be different. For example say... Twilight and Dusk would have different thinking processes and as such differences in thought, choice making, and problem solving. Take for example, the female maternal instance (Prepare for generalization), this instinct would cause slight (or major) difference's in neutering patterns in Twilight and Dusk, while Twilight, due to her maternal instinct, would take on more of a mother/parent role when razing Spike, Dusk on the other hand, might take the role of a mentor or teacher instead of a parent like attitude when raising female Spike. Because of this Male and Female Spike would most likely have slightly different views, morals, opinions etc.
Now for problem solving. The main difference is testosterone, disclaimer: I do not have an in-depth knowledge of hormones and biology, so if I make any errors please excuse them to a point, if I make a really big fuck up please just point it out to me polity. Due to higher levels of testosterone in males, the males are more likely too come to violence a lot sooner then the females and since the ratio between the genders is roughly 10/1 (this is my own personal belief) this would have drastic effects on society, for example. The Royal Guard in the female universe of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic is pretty much a joke, they have never been useful and are only there as red shirts do be incapacitated.There armor is made of gold, one of the weakest elements, and it seems that they have a very strict appearance slandered (I don't believe in that bullsh*t excuse about the armor being enchanted, we see Shining Armor out of uniform and he does not change appearance so it is more then likely that the other guards do not change appearance.), while the Royal Guard in the male universe would likely be more professional, wearing steel armor and being generally USEFUL. The reason for this difference is because males have higher levels of testosterone, they are more likely to indulge in violence, war, crime etc etc etc, as such the need for a proper military and police force would be much higher in the male universe while in the female universe they are likely just there for show so maybe in the male universe they wold have steel armor, better training, a more open recruitment stranded and just generally be a more effective force.
Another difference would be mindset.(Going to generalize in a moment) Generally Males have a more utilitarian mind set, which means they desire functionality over style, we'll call it AppleJack mindset
(again, generalizing), while female more often then not desire style and elegance over functionality, while things may look better they probably aren't as useful or as long lasting, we'll call it Rarity mindset

While I could probably write a book on this (now that I think about it that would be kind of awesome to post in Fimfiction.net) this rant's aim is probably to start a discussion, about what I don't know, maybe about how both genders need each other for purposes beyond making babies or simply how bat sh*t insane I am.
