I enjoyed it, though I'm never really fond of OC-s and it didn't really hit the feels for me either since it was an OC, but it does speak a little of the tragedies Celestia has to go through in her immortal existence, so that counts for something I guess. The writing was great, but I did detect a lot of misplaced comas in sentences. Still, well done!

2796265 I know. Usually, I would have refrained from using an OC, but since he is more of a device for Celestia to interact with, I went with it. Sure, I could have called him Starswirl and replaced the theme of exploration and new shores with magic and new spells, but it would have felt more awkward.
This is, in the end, about Celestia and how she deals with death, not about him.
