Hmmm; Angry Mac, punished Gilda, a now grizzled veteran Applejack, and secret CelestiaXTwilight projects... it looks like all the pieces have been set to make this an entertaining sequel! Can't wait to see where this goes

Looking forward to seeing how this version of the Justice League ends up. Odd that I find that more interesting than AJ's perspective on certain large-scale events, or even Big Mac's impending Red Lanternship, but I suppose since I already can see where those are going, the Justice League of Equestria holds more mystery value for me. I can totally see Pinkie holding the Flash role without any help whatsoever.
But aside from that, who knows?

Given that this year is the 75th anniversary of Superman and the 30th anniversary of My Little Pony, why not have these two icons meets for the first time.

Can't wait to see if the idea of the Lanterns being connected with the creation legend will hold true or not. If so, (spoiler ahead for those who have not read this chapter) then Celestia is the creator of the whole Lantern design. Will be interesting to see if this is true or not.

Rarity is really the only one I would have problems placing. Huntress? Batmare? *shrugs*
Some of the secondary or background characters might work better than the mane six anyway. Diamond Tiara's dad could be killed in a dark alley thus prompting her to avenge the night. Scootalo could be an orphan and last survivor of a doomed planet. Cheerily could secretly be a changling with powers of invisibility and intangibility. Lyra could be obsessed with hands...
Cant wait to see where this defense league goes. Also I wonder what Oa will do to gilda for the results of her Crime. And cant wait for more AJ/Dash moments. Seems like there might be something bubbling up between them
I read this fic and the one preceeding it and I am enthralled by how good you've mixed the two universes together. A few hints and bits of another stories from the DC universe from make the world a lot larger. I'll be waiting impatiently for the next chapter.
The sequel started of strong. I like that. Also, bit of the wrong spot to put this in, but the Granny Smith death scene reminded me of the Gwen Stacy scene from the Spider-Man Comics. They were very similar.
Also, I love AJ's development. And then Big Mac's impending Red Lanternship, would we see a sibling war?
Man, this isn't getting nearly as much traffic as it should.

It's just happened RELATIVELY recently, that the whole several different corps have formed, but the Violet rings, or, at any rate, their precursors, have been around for a while now. The guy who made the Red Rings, or, anyways, the group he's a member of, has been around for a while as well.
On a different note, the Justice League of Equestria? Nifty. Still looking forward to more. Also, loving Spike's reaction to Twilight bringing out...(dramatic music) The Brainy Specs!
This is the effect of Mac's Red Lantern ring, I'm sure of it. It's creating anger, rage in fact, all over the planet. Just as the Yellow ring causes (and is powered by) fear so it is creating rage. Even the Princesses are affected and that's a bad thing. Twilight is smart enough to create some pretty nasty weapons and this version of Equestria is rapidly setting off onto a path towards becoming the precursor of a Fallout: Equestria-type world with war becoming self-sustaining and then paranoia and fear exacting the harshest price.
I'm genuinely worried about Mac's fate. Although the Red Lanterns are more victims and more controlled by their rings than the Sinestro Corpsmen, he may still be held responsible for any damage caused by his possession of the Red ring.
Interesting that the Equestrians know, at least as a myth, of the breaking of the Light of Creation into the colours of the emotional spectrum.
Will Twilight one day be a White Lantern? Or will she be the Equestrian equivalent of Iron Man, using a runic-powered armour?

Green Lantern: The Animated Series showed off Green, Blue, Purple and Red Lanterns and also that Senestro was a Green Lantern before he turned evil and went to the Yellow Lanterns
Equestria Defense League? I think this is appropriate. Or was it brought up in the first story a lot?
Another interesting chapter although we're still in the process of developing the story at this stage.
Kanjar is a villain but is only a fairly narrow-spectrum and very specific threat. His issues are all about his home system and his political ambitions. The fact he's an aggressive dictator puts him on the Guardians' radar but he's hardly a top division foe. I suspect that he's hoping to recruit Glida as a mercenary for his own objectives. That's seriously misunderstanding the nature of the Sinestro Corps and he might find himself on the wrong end of a Yellow Power Ring and learning that fear is also a tool of order.
I'm worried about Twilight; if Mac is under the influence of a Red Power Ring, he might hurt her in a moment of uncontrolled rage or passion during an intimate moment.
Meanwhile, Twilight seems to be intent on adding a lot of griffin magic Bat-gadgets to what I presume is Mare-do-Well's arsenal.

Rainbow Dash will probably adopt a super-persona too. Things are heading quickly in the direction of the birth of the Justice Herd Equestria, IMHO.

Since the Red Lanterns will be the villains(after seeing the title and cover art),will they be based on the cartoon or the comics?
Considering I did have...some problems with them removing all moral ambiguity from them(okay,two or three of tem)and rage kitty,but I digress.
Either way:It's entertaining ,so you can have my like and I do hope this gets finished.
So it seems twilight is working on her Super Persona. Cant wait to see her debut for that. But i can see it taking awhile. Until she has everything worked out or something big happens that needs her.
Also love how things are evolving with Dash and AJ. I hope nothing comes in between them and tries to stop it either on purpose or accident.
Very nice. At first I thought Twilight was going to end up as a Star Sapphire fighting to save Big Mac from his Red ring, but then you did the bits with the bat gadgets (or is that Mare gadgets, since she'll probably be mare do well instead of bat mare).
I wonder what are your plans for Twilight in this tale...is she going to be come something of a Batmare of this story ?
Also, I wonder how Big Mac is going to keep his relationship with Tiwlight and his "Big red" secret away from his girlfriend and his family ?
All together it was some update and ai cannot wait to see more coming of it.

Seriously, though, Twilight's a good pick for Equestria!Batman.
I still think Twilight would make a better Ted Kord (2nd Blue Beetle) type character than Bruce Wayne. Of course to really make it work you'd need a Booster Gold character for the Goofy Buddy movie vibe you get from the two.
Maybe after this is all said and done Applejack could go to Earth.

I kinda like it. 
I personally woulda made her something more magical (like Dr. Fate) but Blue Beetle works. Maybe a little name change to fit Twilight more, like the Twilight Beetle! Yes! It can work!
If not Twilight maybe another one of the mane 6. Right now I'm thinking Dash. Yeah, she could be the Rainbow Beetle!
Ok... maybe that's a dumb name but I still like the Idea. Someone needs to get it! Or maybe I just need to pick up his comic... I forgot he existed 'til now.
Nonetheless, good idea. 
He's a cool character and needs some love.
Not only a Twilight/Mac ship but a (mostly) confirm on that AppleDash hinted on before. And a new player joins the story, named Kanjar Ro? I know very little about this guy. I was about to look him up but halted. I'll wait to be surprised when he makes shit hits the fan. Don't wanna ruin what he may (or not) do.

Understandably, these things take some time. Hope you hang around maybe doing a one-shot or two while you collect your thoughts. Sometimes writing completely different stories may help with other projects. Just don't get to the point where you bite off more than you can chew.

Wait, Indigo? I don't remember them, what was their color for? I remember Green is will, Yellow is fear, Blue is hope, Orange is avarice, Red is rage, and Violet being love (or was it lust?) but I can't remember Indigo.
Hmm... I'm liking most of this story so far, but I'm not sure if Twilight is a 'Batmare' type - what with her magic and all, the use of gadgets seems kind of redundant (and more Pinkie-esque, really) - I think I'd put her more on par with characters like Doctor Fate or Zatanna.
That said! I am looking forward to future installments! :D You've got me hooked to your story!
Ooo! You should keep up with the current story, but have Twilight trying to make superhero aliases for her friends according to their skills! :D

Hm, Applejack the Green Lantern, Big Mac the possible Red Lantern, Twilight the Violet Lantern? A Diamond Dog (or a dragon, maybe even Spike) as an Orange Lantern, Rainbow Dash as a possible Blue Lantern, Gilda the Yellow Lantern, and I guess Fluttershy as the Indigo Lantern? I don't know, but that's my prediction on how the positions for each spectrum will be filled out.

Fluttershy fits better as a Star Sapphire to me.
She doesn't feel compassionate for her animals and friends; she loves them in different ways, and will do anything she can to protect them.
And her yell at the Gala wasn't out of anger or rage; it was out of scorn.
Namely, she'd been rejected by the animals at the Gala, and thus, she was one scorned mare.
You know I was kind of thinking of the key as like the sequencer from the arkham series. did anybody else think that.
So Twilight is preparing a Batmare style arsenal of gadgets, nice.
