Applejack was a simple pony, content with a hard day's work and good friends. However, fate decides she's in for a little more than that when an alien crashes into the farm and gives her a strange ring. Now, Applejack is thrust into a war she never expected, part of the intergalactic police force, the Green Lanterns. The enemy? A merciless group of warriors called the Yellow Lanterns, whose brutality is unmatched by any in the universe. Faced with a savagery that she has never encountered before, Applejack must step up and become the iron willed warrior the Green Lanterns, and the universe, need her to be.

Well, for my first attempt at looking at the 'New Stories' section, I landed an pretty good story. I'm definantly tracking this. Keep up the good work mate.

You said 'people' here. In any other circumstance, that'd be ok. but considering that throughout the story you made pony puns like 'Benjamin Flanklan' (which, might I add, was great), it's best to make everything consistant and change that into 'ponies' or 'other ponies' so you don't confuse the reader.
I'm pretty sure you mean 'She' there.
Can we expect other colors in the emotional spectrum?
Will we be seeing any human Green Lanterns, like John Stewart or Hal Jordan?

This is a good story thus far. AJ I think makes for a perfect Green Lantern, I especially like how you brought in a few of the better known Lanterns without making them main stays. I felt like Gilda's thing was a bit campy, but then again, this is a story based off of a comic book series so campy isn't that out of place to see.

The Guardians will deal with Glida; being a Yellow Lantern puts her in their jurisdiction. It's a horrible way to learn just what manner of monsters the Sinestro Corps recruits (and how it twists them) though.
I'm betting that what Glida was trying to say was 'I'm sorry! Don't hurt me!" Because, if there is one constant in all Yellow Lanterns, it is fear; fear of being weak, fear of consequences and fear of those with power of them. Sinestro's evil was based on his fear of his failure to make the cut as a Green Lantern. It is that fear that powers their rings and Glida learnt just what it was to be fearful and weak in those few moments.
If the Yellow Lanterns are around, then the other colours of the emotional spectrum can't be far behind.
