How about using Trixie's last name? Then it could be something like LulaDash, LulaBow, or Sonic RainMoon.
And on the topic of the actual story, I think it's a nice start. Much as I like a good Twixie story, it's interesting to see Trixie paired with someone else, and having that first spark be triggered by their mutual issues with bullies/hecklers gives Dash a good reason to not just keep on flying past. It'll still be fun to see them butting heads as the story progresses.
Out of curiosity, are you familiar with Trinary's stories where RD was Celestia's student instead of Twilight? Trixie's plan for reclaiming her popularity just reminded me a lot of how Dash and Trixie became friends in that series.

I think I know the one you're talking about, but I can't say I remember much about that story save for it being basically Griffon the Brush Off with Trixie in Gilda's place.

I think I have seen one Fluttershy X Trixie story.
Never seen AJ x Trixie ever. I did see Big Mac x Trixie once.
Trixie isn't shipped with a wide variety of ponies, oddly enough.

Well well well a new Trixie story from the great Yukito. Featuring not Twilight but Rainbow Dash, I am impressed, intrigued and excited by this concept. Off to a great start and this looks like it could be a decent length by the end, can't wait for the ride!

Only gripe I have is that there are quite a few grammatical and spelling errors that detract quite a bit form the reading experience. Have you had an editor or someone read through it a couple of times to help fix the errors?
