For hundreds of years, Twilight Sparkle has managed to go through her life by working day and night as the sole ruler of Equestria. Sensing her life coming to an end, Twilight looks back at her achievements and believes like something is missing since the last of her loved ones died.

One day, Twilight finds some old relics with her great-great-great-great-great granddaughter with one of them being her old doll, Smartypants. Memories of the time she used to play with her favorite doll, even bringing it to life with a spell, flood her as long-buried emotions come out. It is with Smartypants that Twilight will find what she has been missing all this time.

In all her years as an author A.K Yearling has had one foe, whom neither she nor her alter ego Daring Do could defeat. It's vile plans so unpredictable and powerful she could only nudge it hoping it would give in. But it never has, for it's infinite skills and powers hobble the great author and explorer at each turn. It's cunning eyes watching her every move planning the perfect time and place to strike. It's great paws of eternal power waiting for the signs, for when she is at it's most vulnerable it's plan shall commence once more.

Any author or writer with a pet will know whom I speak of, for they alone are the fiends we can never conquer. And yes everyone's favorite author mare and explorer has one too, so fluffy and evil it is to do the dastardly things it does.

Rainbow Dash has been pushed into flying something heavy and precious halfway across the country in the middle of a freezing night. She finds this less than ideal.

So... Here we are. Again. My story ended on a cliffhanger last time, yes? Well, here I am to continue it. I'm not quite dead yet... Or am I? I could be for all I know. Maybe I'm here as my Heaven or Hell? Or purgatory? Am I in Purgatory? Ah, thinking thoughts like this doesn't help.

So... I left off with Erlking chanting a spell and me being thrown through a portal... Right? Yes, right. Ahem.

I think at that point, my life took a major u-turn straight to Tartarus. But me being me, I decided to sit back and enjoy the damn ride. No point fighting what you can't control, right? WRONG! I WILL PUNCH DEATH IN THE BALLS IF HE COMES ANYWHERE NEAR ME! Ok? Ok.

Just to be clear, I am not afraid of death. No far from it. Hell, I'll head right into it and I'll even pay the toll. I will even enjoy the ride there, but I will fight to prevent it.

Huh? Then, what am I afraid of you ask? Well, read on and find out what a God is scared of... Hmm? I'm not a God? Nope, you are correct. But I may as well be, right? I need my self-esteem or else I have nothing.

I know I am not a God. I am not perfect. I'm the farthest thing from it. But I strive to be good. To help the innocent and the helpless. I have been hailed as a God before for my deeds back in Aleroth.

If not a God, I strive to be a Saint. This isn't Rivellon. I'm no God. I'm just an alien. A foreigner in a hostile and unfamiliar place, right?

ANYWAY. Enough rambling, let's continue shall we?

This is actually a pretty decent Friday morning, and not because of the lack of school for the day. It's easy to notice the magnificent details of your morning; the drizzling grey of the sky that made you sleepy all over again, the mattress you're lying on that you swear is made of clouds, the fluffy blankets causing your enviroment to be comfortably warm and the simple fact that you don't have anything to do for the whole day.

Blue Sky, an aspiring pilot, has had a crush on Sunset Shimmer for most of high school. When assigned as partners for a class project, he sees a chance to help them get a good grade... and maybe even a date in the process.
