News of a new world across the sea has reached every corner of Equestria, and Princess Celestia has called for a massive exodus to this new land to help its inhabitants with any sort of aid. The most radical of such aid is the Ponification Potion that will turn the downtrodden and diseased creatures into happy and healthy ponies. Hundreds of Equestrians have answered this call, literally leaping at the chance to help those in need. Shimmer Sprite is one such pony, and before the week is done she will learn that sometimes the best way to help somepony in need is to leave them alone.

However, her work is disturbed by a mysterious plague that spreads through the town, causing ponies to lose their beloved manes! Is it the work of a phantom prankster? Perhaps a deadly disease? Or maybe something a little more... colourful?

Dinky enjoys staying with Sparkler, but is still anxious to go back home to her mom. The bright young filly and the young-at-heart mare use their time together to teach each other about growing up and what it means to be family.
