This is a fan-made, alternative ending to AuroraDawn's "Rainbow Factory". All credit for the original story, and the source of my inspiration, goes fully to her.

Escape Insanity: We all know how "The Rainbow Factory" ended... Or do we? This is the story of what happened after the ending. When Rainbow Dash comes to her senses after she loses her mind trying to catch Scootaloo. Now they must fight to get out alive. (Read "The Rainbow Factory" first if you haven't yet.)
Operation: Crimson Rainbow: Upon learning of the secret facility of the Rainbow Factory and what happens inside it's walls, Princess Luna dispatches a special task force to shut the facility down... For good.

The Cloudsdale Weather Corporation is thrown into panic and chaos when an OSHA Compliance Officer arrives at their Rainbow Factory for a surprise inspection. Now, Factory Manager Rainbow Dash must cooperate with the Officer's inspection, lest he revoke their license, all the while trying to keeping the dark secrets of the Factory hidden.

Rainbow Dash has been caught. Discovered as a spy for the Cloudsdale resistance, the true owner of the Rainbow Factory has taken it upon herself to personally ensure that every single scrap of information they can find is forced out of the Element of Loyalty. But as the interrogation drags on, it becomes clear that not everything is as it seems. Is this really the Factory's greatest victory, or the beginning of the end?

Taken place straight after Rainbow Factory; Scootaloo finds herself saved and escapes the horrid factory, but her adventure is not over yet. In fact, some would say it has only begun.

There is something not right. And Scootaloo, alongside her new friends, must stop it, before it takes more victims. But as lives are saved, revelations will be found and friendships will be forged, broken and gained.
